Risk Notice

Last updated: November 3, 2026

Trading memecoins, copying other traders and letting software trade for you are all high risk. This notice explains the main risks in plain words. It is part of our Terms. It can't list every risk.

You are solely and fully responsible for your own trades.

You can lose all of your money

Copying can lose money. Any trade can lose some or all of what you put in. Only put in money you can afford to lose entirely, and never borrowed money.

Memecoins are extremely risky

Memecoins have no underlying value. Their prices can rise and fall by most of their value in minutes, and many go to zero. Some are made to take buyers' money (a "rug"): the creator can sell everything, lock trading, or mint more. There may be no one to buy your coins when you want to sell, so you may not be able to sell at all.

A copy is not the trader's trade

Your copy goes out after the trader's trade, so it can buy at a higher price and sell at a lower one, or fail. A trader can sell into the buying that copiers bring. A trade that made money for them can lose money for you. A copy can be skipped or land late, and a sell can fail and need another try. A wallet you paste yourself is one we know nothing about.

Automatic trades are still yours

Copy trading and Auto-Trade trade for you without a tap, only because you turned them on. They can make many trades quickly, including losing ones, while you aren't watching. Every one of those trades is your responsibility. Check on them, set limits you are comfortable with, and turn them off when you don't want them.

Past results don't predict yours

The board shows what traders did in the past, read from public blockchain data. It isn't a forecast, and it isn't what a copy of them earned. A trader who won before can lose next, change how they trade, or stop.

Coin checks are not a guarantee

Coin checks skip some coins that look unsafe. They use third-party data that can be wrong or late, and a coin that passes can still be a scam or go to zero.

Fees apply, win or lose

Each buy and each sell pays a fee (0.5%; under $25 usually at least 5 cents, at most 2% of the trade), a winning sell pays 5% of its profit, and every transaction pays Solana's network fee. Small copies that win a little can end up behind after fees. See Fees.

Technology can fail

The app depends on blockchains, third-party services (such as Jupiter, pump.fun, Turnkey and RugCheck), data and hosting providers, and our own software. Any of them can be slow, wrong, hacked or offline, and a trade can fail, go through late, or go through at a worse price. We may pause trading to protect the service.

Trades are final

A transaction on Solana can't be undone by anyone, including us. A send to a wrong address can't be recovered.

Your keys, your responsibility

Your wallet is self-custody. If you lose every device with your passkey and haven't exported your key, you can lose access to your funds. Never share an exported key: anyone who has it can take your funds.

Law and taxes

The rules for crypto assets differ from place to place and can change, which can affect whether you can use the app. You are responsible for following the law where you are, and for any taxes on your trades.

Not financial advice

Nothing in the app is financial advice, and nothing here is a promise of profit. The Chad App takes no responsibility for anyone's decisions or results in the app, automatic trades included. 18 or older only. See the Terms.
